Responsibilities:

Project Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects from start to finish.
  • Work directly with the Project Manager to coordinate and execute project tasks.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings and advise on constructability issues.
  • Maintain and update the project schedule, including preparing schedules for sub-contractor meetings.
Quality and Safety:
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and address quality issues promptly.
  • Maintain a safe job site by enforcing safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure all team members adhere to safety standards.
Team and Stakeholder Relations:
  • Train and mentor Assistant Superintendents and other assigned staff.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for the District and Architect.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with all project stakeholders.
  • Host weekly sub-contractor meetings to coordinate material deliveries and project progress.
Documentation and Compliance:
  • Complete and maintain daily reports in ProCore.
  • Properly document project and sub-contractor performance.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project materials.
  • Follow and enforce company procedures and processes.
  • Keep the construction trailer and job site clean and presentable.
  • Follow punch list procedures to ensure all items are addressed promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Oversee SWPPP operations.
  • 2-5 years serving as an Assistant Super on commercial construction sites.
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
  • Strong understanding of safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Proficient in ProCore and submittal tracking software.
  • OSHA 30 training, First Aid, CPR, and AED training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented.
  • Commitment to a minimum of 20 hours of continued education annually.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive with a forward-thinking mindset.
